2023 Award Winners

Chaired by Edsel Dsouza & Mimi Donaldson, LAX Coastal Connections wins 2002-2023 award for Best Program at The LAX Chamber of Commerce gala

As a new board member to the LAX Chamber of Commerce, Edsel doubled down on his commitment to support small businesses in his area.

The LAX Chamber membership has a diverse group of businesses ranging from large companies that support the LAX airport, the surrounding hotels in the area and the tech and medical companies. However, the large portion of the membership is small businesses. Edsel saw an opportunity and a need to bring the businesses together in one room where everyone can showcase their expertise and commitment to their work in a professional setting.

Along with his co-chair, Mimi Donaldson, TED Speaker Coach of MimiSpeaks created a monthly breakfast meeting at the Hampton Inn & Suites in El Segundo on the third Tuesday of every month. with the theme of "Inform, Involve & Inspire"

Since it's inception in February, 2023, the meeting now has now grown to an average of 35-40 registrants on a monthly basis. If you would like to know more about LAX Coastal Connections, please feel free to contact Edsel.
