It's Open Enrollment season for Health Insurance and Medicare

We're out and about in the community, assisting individuals & families with their Covered California and Medicare plans, and meeting with small business owners and their employees, to help folks understand their Employee Benefits and health insurance options for 2026.

Small Business Group Insurance - Employee Benefits

Did you know that the average group size in the state of California is only 7 employees? We're a small business state!

As an independent broker, my job is to help employers to set up an attractive benefits package so that the business can attract and retain top talent. And, we advise on HR technology that cuts down the time spent on mindless HR admin tasks.

Once a decision is made with the business owner, we help the employer to conduct Open Enrollment meetings and offer the opportunity for employees to schedule a one-on-one follow-up phone appointment to answer their questions and explain the health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options.

Explaining plan options and building excitement for the Employee Benefits program we developed to help small business owners compete with large corporation when it comes to employee recruitment and retention.

Professional Development

We also attended and help to produce several professional development events through our local association of Health & Medicare brokers, CAHIP-LA (California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals, Los Angeles chapter).
